A suspect accused in an officer-involved shooting in April has now been formally charged in Miller County with two class-A felony counts of kidnapping and one class-B felony count of assault-special vicitm.

According to a report from the highway patrol, officers responded to the residence on North Leeds Avenue, in Eldon, and confronted David Eugene Wallace who refused to comply with orders and began throwing objects at the officers.

The incident came to an end with Wallace being shot by one of the troopers. Two women hiding in a closet were not hurt.
