Oma & Noma Days festivities kick off tonight on the Strip in Lake Ozark. This weekend, Bagnell Dam will be open to the public for only the second time since 9/11. Tours will be held Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Here is the schedule of other events at this year’s Oma & Noma Days:
Friday, 5/13
6-10 p.m. – Hot Summer Nights Cruise, on the Strip; all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome
Saturday, 5/14
9 a.m.-5 p.m. – Free historical exhibit, at the White House
9 a.m.-5 p.m. – Old Time Ham Radio Hands-On Exhibition
9 a.m.-5 p.m. – 1931 Troupe Street Performers, all along the Strip
10 a.m.-4 p.m. – Checker Challenge, at the White House
10 a.m.-4 p.m. – Vintage Car Show, along the Strip
10 a.m. – Sue Dutton Dulcimers perform, at Luby’s Stage
10:30 a.m. – Don Graves & Family bluegrass music performance
11 a.m. – Little Mr. and Miss Oma & Noma Days Pageant
12:00 noon – Ozark Outhouse Race & Parade, at the White House
12:30 p.m. – 80th Anniversary of Bagnell Dam Celebration, at the White House
1 p.m. – Dog Show & Pageant
2 p.m. – Ozark Mountain Cloggers performance
3 p.m. – Bubble Gum Blowing Contest
4 p.m. – Pie Eating Contest
Sunday, May 15
8 a.m. – free community breakfast, at the White House
9 a.m.-5 p.m. – Free historical exhibit, at the White House
10 a.m.-2 p.m. – 1931 Troupe Street Performers, along the Strip
