A three car accident this morning (Friday 20) in Morgan County has left an area woman dead and Rocky Mountain Fire Chief Larry Paynter in serious condition. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Donna Grammer of Rocky Mount attempted to pass another car in a no passing zone. That vehicle was driven by 17-year-old Kaylee Hawk of Rocky Mount. While passing, Grammer’s vehicle collided head on with Paynter’s vehicle. Grammer was declared dead on the scene. Paynter is scheduled for surgery this afternoon (Friday 20).
