Incumbent Steve Eden, in Camdenton’s ward-2, will now have opposition when it comes to retaining his seat on the board of aldermen. Brenda Oshel Weir has thrown her name in the ring challenging Eden in the upcoming municipal election. In the meantime, there is no change in the other five races with incumbents John McNabb running for mayor, Dan Hagedorn running for the two-year term in ward-1, and Sandy Osborn in the third ward. Newcomer Bonnie Blankenship Black is unopposed, for now, running for the one-year term in ward-1. The filing period comes to a close on January 17th and the elections are set for April 4th
