The City of Osage Beach continues to prepare for future expansion and economic growth. Two examples that KRMS News has been telling you about are the proposed Arrowhead Center on Highway KK which will consist of eight phases, cost around $385 million dollars and once completed could result in up to 2,500 new jobs. Also, the Board of Alderman approved the first reading of an ordinance last week annexing the Furniture Factory Outlet which consists of around 1.7 acres of land. The second and final reading of the ordinance will be considered for approval by the Board on September 18th. City officials believe the annexation will bring in additional sales tax revenue and assist with expanding of the city limits.
