A $27.5 million dollar budget is slated to be approved by the Osage Beach board of alderman when it meets tonight (Thursday). That would be an increase of a million dollars from two years ago but a decrease of nearly two million from last year. In other business the board will consider authorizing the mayor to execute an architecture services contract for the remodeling of the public works building and also a contract for the demolition of a structure at the Grand Glaize airport. The board will also discuss the purchase of four police vehicles and four trucks including two for the water department and a dump truck for the transportation department. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 in city hall.
