A number of items were discussed during last night’s meeting of the Osage Beach board of alderman. A bill was passed to enter into an advertising contract with the Tri-County Lodging Association. In other business a bill was passed that provides funding for sidewalks along Osage Beach Parkway from Arby’s to Case road. Phase 4 as it’s called will be funded with 80% federal funds with the city picking up the rest. The city is in the engineering phase at this time and expects to begin actual construction in 2016. The board also passed a bill that will allow payment for leak detection equipment. The second part of the bill allows for the completion of aver road repairs that are necessary as a result of city sewer work. And an additional agreement was passed that covers unforeseen expenses incurred during the hangar project at Lee C. Fine airport.
