School safety and a pair of contracts to build a new water well appear on the agenda for the Osage Beach Board of Aldermen. The board will hear second reading on a request from School of the Osage to provide a school resource officer for the district. Second reading is also scheduled on two contracts relating to construction of a well for Swiss Village. One contract deals with the actual construction, while the other is an engineering contract. Finally, the board will vote on a resolution to join a safety program sponsored by MoDOT. The “buckle up, phone down” campaign is a pledge to use seatbelts and avoid using cellphones in moving vehicles. The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen meets Thursday at 6pm in Osage Beach City Hall.
