The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen will try again to gain approval for an evaluation of the police department when they meet in regular session this evening. It will be the fourth consecutive meeting in which the issue has been on the agenda for a vote. It’s passed 3-2 three times in a row but was a vote shy of the necessary four needed for passage under state law. At each of those meetings, a board member has been absent preventing the vote from going to a tie-breaker. The board will also decide on two resolutions for Transportation Alternatives Program applications for sidewalk improvements. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6pm in city hall.
