The 2015 budget for the city of Osage Beach is down a little bit from the previous year. The city’s board of alderman gave first round approval recently for a budget in the amount of just over $27.5 million dollars. That’s an increase of nearly a million dollars from two years ago but a decrease of nearly two million dollars from last year. One of the main reasons for the decrease is that there are fewer projects anticipated for 2015. This year, the city’s focus has been on fixing the storm damage done to the city park in 2013. Some of the projects scheduled for next year include repainting the water tower and purchasing a new ambulance.
