The Osage Beach City Park partially reopened yesterday following a lengthy closure due to flooding last summer. The playground and some of the ball fields are scheduled to reopen this week and officials say reconstruction work on the dam and culvert continues along with repairs to the parking lot and baseball/softball field number-two; all of which is expected to be completed sometime this summer. The total cost to repair and restore the park is expected to be around $675-thousand dollars. About 80-percent of that cost will be funded by the city’s liability insurance along with help from Federal and State Agencies.
