Osage Beach Fire Protection District Chief Jeff Dorhauer has announced that he’ll be retiring at the end of this year. Dorhauer joined the district in 1989 as a volunteer. He became a full-time employee of the district in 1996 and was named Chief in 2006. He will have served 30 years for the district when his retirement becomes effective December 31st. He’s retiring with a year remaining on his contract due to medical issues.
