We’ve told you what Mid-County and Lake Ozark fire districts are doing to follow through on goals set in levy increases approved by voters. Osage Beach fire is also working on plans for a new training facility that their voters approved funding for in April. The training center will be located on 16 acres of donated land behind station #2 on KK. Chief Jeff Dorhauer says the first step is getting that land prepared for the build.

Dorhauer says they want the training center to be something they can customize and expand on as their needs change in the future.
