Osage Beach is considering a new incentive program to encourage development within the city. A proposal scheduled for a vote at Thursday’s Board of Aldermen meeting would allow for waivers on certain fees for developers building multi-unit complexes for sale or rent. It would also apply to tourism-related developments. The plan dictates caps on the purchase prices and rent levels for the developments and would not kick-in until certain percentages of each development are constructed and available to the public. Developers would be eligible for partial waivers on things like building pemits, site development, and water impact fees, to name a few. The board meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 6pm.
