Osage Beach is looking to do some work on their storm warning systems. When the Board of Aldermen meets Thursday, they’ll consider a motion to spend just under $50,000 on outdoor warning sirens. Part of that money would be used to purchase an additional siren to be erected on KK. The rest would be spent on repairs to a siren on Lazy Days Road. City Manager Jeana Woods said that siren was damaged by ants and that part of the expense would include measures to protect against that type of damage in the future.
