An Osage Beach man who, allegedly, spit blood in the face of a deputy faces formal charges of assault—special victim—and resisting arrest in Camden County. The sheriff’s department’s Captain Chris Twitchel says deputies were recently dispatched to a report of an intoxicated subject trying to enter an apartment. Upon arrival, 32-year-old Christopher Johnson, reportedly, became combative and spit the blood in the deputy’s face after being taken into custody. Johnson was taken to the Camden County Jail. Both of the charges are misdemeanors and, as of Monday afternoon, Johnson remained in custody on a $5-thousand bond.
