Osage Beach Man Faked Bomb Threat At Lake Ozark Home

An Osage Beach Man is behind bars facing numerous charges after telling police he “had a bomb”.

The Miller County Sheriff’s office says they responded to calls for help at a residence on South Eagle Road in Lake Ozark.

There they discovered that 37-year-old Joseph Turnbaugh had allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend by pushing her to the ground, then he preceded to throw numerous rocks at another victim’s car windows, shattering them.

As Deputies approached the man, he indicated there was a bomb in the house and if they entered, everyone would “Blow up and die.”

He’s currently being held on a $25,000 bond.
