Many cities in Missouri have an ordinance against hunting within the city limits. Osage Beach, however, is an exception. Over this past weekend, they started their City’s managed deer hunt. Bow hunters will be allowed to hunt inside the city limits between September 15th and January 15th. They must have a permit and a parking pass for the property in order to hunt within the city limits and crossbows are not allowed. Properties also have to be registered by the landowner through the Public Works Department.
