Osage Beach appears to be trashing an idea to limit garbage removal within city limits. In 2018, they passed a resolution to explore restricting trash pickup to just a single provider. That triggered a two-year window during which the city could conduct further research to determine the cost-effectiveness of the plan, as well as logistics. At their meeting scheduled for Thursday evening, the Board of Aldermen is scheduled to vote to rescind that resolution and cancel the remainder of the two-year window. The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen meets Thursday at 6pm in Osage Beach City Hall.
