A new alderman is expected to be chosen later this week for the city of Osage Beach. The Board of Alderman will be having a special meeting on Thursday evening to discuss the appointment of someone to fill the vacancy on the board for Ward Two. Once the new person is selected, they will be sworn into office. Earlier this month, former alderman Lois Farmer resigned to move closer to her family in Illinois. The Board of Alderman will then have a regular meeting that will start at 6:30 to discuss two bills. The special meeting for the Osage Beach Board of Alderman will start at 6:15 on Thursday evening at Osage Beach City Hall.
