Revitalizing business on the west side of Osage Beach is a step closer to, possibly, being a reality. The second scheduled meeting between the HDR Consulting firm, city officials, the business community and the general public took place earlier this week. Mayor John Olivarri says the study is all but over with the developer ready to move onto the next step in the process.
After the development plan is formulated, it will be presented to the board of aldermen during a future meeting. At that time, city officials will decide if the concept becomes an actual project. Cost of the Parkway West Study came in at, roughly, $70-thousand.
