The City of Osage Beach is taking sealed bids for an annual contract to provide maintenance and repair services on traffic signals, street lighting and ball field lighting. Public Works Director Nick Edelman says the annual program is similar to one in the City of Wentzville. The contractor awarded the work will have to comply with several requirements including complying with the prevailing hourly rate for wages and taking a 10-hour safety and health course approved by OSHA or the State Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. Bids for the project should be submitted to city hall no later than 10-AM on Tuesday, May 22nd. The contract is projected to go in effect sometime in June or July.
