Two proposals before the Osage Beach Board of Aldermen would provide more money to board members and the mayor. The first ordinance would increase their pay for attending regular and special meetings. The per diem for aldermen would go from $75 to $100 per meeting. For the mayor, the pay would increase from $100 to $125. The second proposal would allow the aldermen or mayor to collect a per diem of $25 for attending meetings for other city boards that they serve on, including the TIF Commission, Planning Commission, Liquor Control Board, and Joint Sewer Board. If approved , the increases would not take effect until after the election. The board meets Thursday at 6pm at Osage Beach City Hall.
