The Osage County Sheriff is in hot water after the Missouri Public Safety department decided to revoke the peace officer’s license to Sheriff Michael Dixon on Monday. Now, Osage County commission is calling for Dixon to step down. Commission members drafted a first resolution today (Tuesday) and are ready to do a second resolution if he does not step down and could request proceedings to have him removed. Dixon had pleaded guilty to harassing a Belle police officer in July of last year and was placed on probation for two years. Dixon does have 30 days to appeal the decision but has not announced anything yet.
