School of the Osage could soon become a concealed carry campus allowing appropriately trained teachers and staff to arm themselves. Following the incident in Parkland, Florida, the district went into a mode of heightened security and fielded several inquiries into how the district is keeping students safe.

The topic of potentially training certain teachers and staff appears on the agenda for Monday night’s board of education meeting. The meeting begins at 6-pm in the Heritage Building Archive Room.
