Osage Water Company Soon To Be A New Company

The Osage Water Company will soon be under new ownership.

The Missouri Public Service Commission clearing the way for a transfer of ownership by approving a recently filed request filed by the Osage Utility Operating Company.

The PSC determined that Osage Utility has the capability to own and operate the Osage Water Company’s systems, which are described as being in need of maintenance and repair.

Osage Utility plans to keep rates where they are for now….those rates have been in effect since September 2009.

The Osage Water Company serves some 400 water and another 400 sewer customers in Camden County.
