Over 170 Couples Renew Wedding Vows at Bridal Cave

An annual KRMS radio event at Lake of the Ozarks saw more than 170 couples renew their commitments to each other. Bridal Cave General Manager Steve Thompson says 172 couples participated in the annual renewal of wedding vows this past Sunday. People came from as far away as Seattle, Washington to participate in the free ceremony. Some had been married for as long as 59 years. At least one couple had been married just a year. The event also generated a truckload of canned foods that will be donated to area food pantries. Thompson says they anticipate conducting their 4,000th wedding later this summer.
