Over 70 businesses have been participating in the passport to the parkway in order to help jump start the area’s economy. Those efforts to promote businesses on the west end of the Grand Glaize bridge in Osage Beach will end Saturday. The event includes discounts and specials from participating businesses, specifically attempting to attract people back to the west end. Shoppers are given coupons and a passport that can be stamped in order to qualify for entry into a drawing for several prizes. The program began on October 1st through the work of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee and local business owners.
