The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen will begin a discussion this week on a proposed prescription drug monitoring program for the city. A draft ordinance authorizing participation in the St. Louis County-based program is on the agenda for Thursday’s meeting. No action is expected to be taken and the agenda lists the draft as being for discussion purposes only. It’s estimated that participating in the program will cost the city just under $700 a year. Thursday’s meeting begins at 6pm in Osage Beach City Hall.
