A Lake Area park is going to be getting a new makeover for this next year. Mike Welty, Assistant City Administrator for Osage Beach, says the 13 acre park will be getting a whole new playground facility.

He also says he will be attending a class in Jefferson City in a couple weeks with Parks and Recreation Manager Matt Vandevoort to learn exactly how to administer the grant they have received.
