A Peoria, Illinois woman was injured following a boating accident Saturday morning near the 19 mile marker at the mouth of the Grand Glaiza Arm. The Highway Patrol’s Water Division reports 57 year old Rebecca Howard injured her back after the boat she was in struck a large wake. Howard was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries. The operator of the vessel, 67 year old John Bennett of Kaiser was not injured.
