Those wanting to legalize marijuana in Missouri are getting an early start on a petition drive to put the measure on the ballot for 2016. According to reports, the initiative petition has already been submitted to the secretary of state’s office. The proposed constitutional amendment would make it legal those 21 and older to manufacture, sell and use marijuana in Missouri. The move comes after voters this week legalized pot in Alaska, Oregon and Washington D.C.. Recreational use of marijuana is also legal in the states of Colorado and Washington.
