Having to make an emergency landing in a small airplane in Cole County brings to an end more than eight years of running from the law for a federal fugitive. The Camden County Sheriff’s Department reports that information was received from Cole County that the subject who made the landing in a field in mid-August identified himself as Scott Star from the Camdenton area. Further information revealed that his real name is Graham McGill…identified as a federal fugitive whose pilot’s license had been suspended by the FAA and wanted by the U.S. District Court for conspiracy to cultivate and manufacture marijuana. Multiple search warrants were obtained on various homes, properties and multiple airplanes purchased in the area by McGill. He is currently being held without bond while the investigation continues.
