A franchisee of several Missouri Pizza Hut’s and Wendy’s is closing up to 300 locations following a bankruptcy filing on Monday.

According to a release, NPC International based in Leawood Kansas says they plan to close the locations because they “were not designed for pick-up or delivery” plans and they have to find new locations that will fit that need.

NPC owns 1,225 Pizza Hut and 385 Wendy’s locations in 27 states.

Of those, 4 Pizza Hut locations are near the Lake including one in Lebanon, 1 in Buffalo and 2 in the Fort Leonard Wood Area.

It remains unknown if they are part of the 300 being closed or not at this time.
