Authorities are continuing to investigate the shooting of two cats with a bow and arrow near Versailles, according to Brian Williams, Chief Investigator with the Humane Society of Missouri:
Anyone with information about who may have shot the cats is asked to contact the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department:
The Humane Society is offering a 25 hundred dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for shooting the cats. Williams says the cats, both 2-year old males, named Patches and Licorice, are being treated by a veterinarian in Morgan County and are continuing to recover from their injuries:
