Police are still looking for a suspect following a high speed chase Friday night in Miller County. The Lake Ozark Police Department confirms one suspect is in custody while a second man is still at large. The chase started in Lake Ozark after officers attempted to pull over a car at which time the two suspects sped off and headed toward Eldon. The car then crashed near the intersection of Route “Y” and Highway 52. Police were able to apprehend the driver, however the passenger ran into a wooded area. Authorities were unable to locate him. During a search of the vehicle, a stolen gun was found under the passenger’s seat. Police are investigating whether or not the suspects could be involved with other cases of stolen guns and vehicles.
