Positive ID Made on Body Discovered Floating in Miller County Pond

The Miller County Sheriff’s Department says they DO  have a positive identification after a body was discovered floating in a pond along Poplar Road close to Highway-52. However, the name of the victim described as a white male in his 30’s and not from the area is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin. An autopsy performed in Boone County was able to I-D the man but the cause of death is still, officially, unknown as the sheriff’s department waits for a toxicology report.
