Major Storm Damage To King’s Plaza Following Severe Thunderstorm In Osage Beach

Severe Storms rolling through the Lake area Saturday evening have turned the King’s Plaza in Osage Beach into a total disaster.

KRMS’s Christian Blood was at the Plaza right after the storm hit.

Officials report that damage was done to numerous businesses, including a consignment store that appears to have been split in the center by the storm.

NWS Officials cannot confirm if it was a Tornado or a Microburst at this time.

Major damage has occurred to the King’s Plaza in Osage Beach.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, officials are on the scene keeping the public safe.

Nearly 70 Mile An Hour winds hit the area during a Severe Thunderstorm Warning between 6:45 and 7:45PM.

Residents report the damage extended into the Osage Beach Parkway.

The King’s Plaza contains numerous stores, including Randy’s Frozen Custard and is located next to Dierbergs.

We’re getting word that the Roof has been partly or fully damaged at Randy’s Frozen Custard in Osage Beach

Residents on Social media say they witnessed it being torn off, as strong storms with 70 mile an hour wind gusts moved into the area.

The storm did prompt a severe thunderstorm warning at the time, but not a tornado warning.

Randy’s is located in the King’s Plaza next to Dierbergs on Osage Beach Parkway.
