One of three suspects in a double homicide in Morgan County appears in court for a preliminary hearing. On Friday afternoon, Judge Kevin Schehr said that there was probable cause that a felony had been committed by 44-year old Derrell Spellmeyer of Eldon. He is charged with two counts of second degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action in the deaths of Carol and Freddie Wilson. They were found shot to death inside their home near Versailles in February. Spellmeyer is being held at the Morgan County Jail on a bond of one million dollars. He will be back in court on November 14th.
