An Iberia man accused of stabbing his step niece to death will be back in court in November. On Monday, a case review was held in Miller County Court for 30-year old Steven Henderson. He is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Macala Shelton. The body of the 13-year old girl was found near a farm in Iberia. Prosecutors say Henderson led authorities to the body and also told them that he had stabbed the girl with a large survival knife. He is being held at the Miller County Jail on a bond of 500 thousand dollars. Henderson will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on November 18th.
