The City of Osage Beach will begin work soon on one of the city’s busiest intersections.
Osage Beach will spend more than half a million dollars to repair the road and put sidewalks in at the intersection of Osage Beach Parkway and Barry Prewitt Memorial Drive near Hyvee. Replacing the control equipment in the signal lights, new asphalt overlay and construction of sidewalks that will extend all the way to Ozark Garden apartments on Highway D, behind Hyvee is a main part of the work.
This will cause some slowing of traffic when the project begins. Public Works Director Nick Edelman said the improvements will be worth it
