The Camdenton Pride of the Lake Marching Band invades Clarksville, Tennessee, over the weekend for the Bands of America competition at Austin Peay State University. The Pride of the Lake reached the finals by placing second in its preliminary class and then going on to a 10th place showing overall. The Lakers band also earned recognition for the 2-A Outstanding Visual performance. Overall, Castle High School out of Indiana took first-place overall. Up next for the Pride of the Lake Marching Band is competition this weekend at Fort Zumwalt in St. Charles, then to Broken Arrow in Oklahoma and the Bands of America Super Regionals in St. Louis on October 21st and 22nd.
