Proctor And Gamble Issue Recall On Dry Shampoos

Heads up lake area shoppers.

The company Proctor and Gamble is issuing a major recall on one of its many Shampoo brands.

The voluntary recall affects more than 30 aerosal spray products, including dry shampoo and dry conditioner from Pantene, Aussie, Herbal Essences and Waterless.

The recall is due to concerns over the levels of the chemical benzene, which is known to cause cancer.

The Food and Drug Administration says that Proctor and Gamble have not received any reports of adverse events related to the recall and company officials say they are pulling the products out of an abundance of caution.
