Many people seem to believe that high school students don’t seem to care about education enough anymore. The Camdenton R-3 District is being award for their effort to change that. The district was awarded the 100% Student Access Award during Missouri Project Lead The Way’s state conference at the end of October. The award was presented to twenty school’s in the state dedicated to educated students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through Project Lead The Way, or PLTW, courses. School Districts that offer at least one PLTW courses for students K-12 are eligible for the award. Camdenton first began working to implement the program in 2012, when they started at the middle school level.
