Proposed changes at South Elementary school inside the Morgan County school district are seeing mixed results after the initial idea was presented at a meeting on January 10th. Superintendent Joyce Ryerson says the idea is to turn the building which has only a handful of students in it, into a dedicated early learning center
Ryerson says the main reason they’re looking at changing the building deals with the severe lack in attendance
Ryerson says it’s nothing permanent at this time as they want more public and teacher input before the board can make any decisions, which is why they’re holding another informational meeting this coming Thursday. Those interested can attend the meeting at the Versailles Library starting at 7pm.
