Ameren Missouri is encouraging increased use of electric vehicles. The utility company is offering incentives for individuals and businesses who transition to electric vehicles and install charging stations. It’s part of a program they call “Charge Ahead.” Ameren says the program will help reduce emissions and save customers money. The Public Service Commission will be holding hearings on the plan later this year. They’ve set a deadline of March 14th for applications to intervene or participate. Public comments can be sent through either the Office of the Public Counsel or the Public Service Commission Staff.
