The Public Service Commission has set a deadline for those interested in intervening in a recent filing by Ameren Missouri. The company is requesting a variance on tariffs and some PSC rules in order to implement Advanced Metering Infrastructure. The plan calls for deployment of more than a million advanced smart meters for both electric and gas customers. It’s part of a larger $6.3 billion grid transformation project announced by the utility company in February of this year. Applications to intervene must be filed with the PSC by October 23rd.
