Public Hearings are scheduled for today regarding nightly rentals across the state. The Missouri House will hold public hearings this afternoon for House Bills 608 and 632. Camden County Presiding Commissioner Greg Hasty has been very outspoken against these bills, stating there are a few things that he believes need to be addressed.
Many lake area residents have expressed concerns that the regulations made possible through passing House Bill 608 would be detrimental to the entire lake area. The hearings for both bills are scheduled for 4 o’clock this afternoon at the capital.
