There’s an important meeting coming up for victims of the floods and the tornado that hit in the lake area earlier this year. NAMI-Missouri is a non-profit group focusing on mental health. They’ll be conducting a public meeting to discuss long-term effects of the disasters on kids and parents alike. The evening begins with a dinner followed by a presentation on youth anxiety, trauma, and mental wellness. If you think you or your child may be suffering long-term from the anguish of the storms, you are invited to attend. The event is offered at no cost and will be held December 4th at the Eldon Community Center. Dinner is at 5:30 with the presentation to follow.
