More than 50 arrest warrants are on their way to the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s office following a two-year multi-jurisdictional drug investigation.

According to Sheriff Jimmy Bench, the South-Central Drug Task Force has been investigating drug deals and dealers across the county, and have nabbed 53 people involved so far.

Bench says they believe they’re getting closer to the ring leader of the smaller dealers throughout the county.

The primary target of the drug investigation was dealers selling fentanyl, heroin and meth.
